The view from the corner rooftop deck is uninspiring: to the west, a construction site, auto mechanic back-lot and strip of bars, to the north a decrepit parking lot and another strip of bars and nightclubs. Starting Wednesdays the bars in their outdoor spaces play loud and quite clear music through into the a.m. That was the worst part (unless that is your scene in which case it would be great.) The hotel should advise guests that at night there is no quiet and youll feel like youre on the Fort Lauderdale strip. Sirens in the wee hours woke us up several nights.
